Ethanol Production
ITR has designed a representative ethanol production facility for location in Southern Idaho. This facility would utilize corn, furnished from the Midwest, as feedstock. Ethanol produced from such a facility would be sold in Idaho and surrounding states. Residuals from the plant would be sold as feed for dairy cows in Magic Valley, Idaho. ITR is looking for partners to build this plant and would, in particular, like to associate the facility with a power plant and utilize the waste heat from such a plant as process heat for ethanol production. Two coal-fired power plants are being considered for construction in Southern Idaho.
